Britten: Ceremony of Carols

Amare Cantare presents one of the most beloved works of the Christmas choral repertoire, Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols (SATB version), which will be complemented by John Owen Edwards’ setting of three carols for harp and chorus, Sussex Carol, Lute-Book Lullaby, and Gloucester Wassail. The program also features Prelude by Ola Gjeilo, Palestrina’s Hodie Christus natus est for double chorus, O magnum mysterium by César Alejandro Carillo, and seasonal carols.
